The four stages you may follow to get your kids ready for braces are listed below.
Educate – Your child may be reluctant to ask us questions at their session because they are likely to have a lot of worries and fears. Make sure your child understands they may ask questions, and make sure you are knowledgeable about all procedures so you can respond to their queries and make them feel comfortable.
Preparation – Let them know what to anticipate in terms of setup and upkeep. What should they be aware of, how it might feel, and ways to prevent cavities?
Train in advance – It’s a good idea to teach children how to take care of their braces and teeth well in advance, depending on the type of therapy.
Always stay positive – Inform your youngster of all the advantages of getting braces and how they will feel afterward.
